Chelsea face players signing ban.

CFCFIFA has banned English club Chelsea for signing players or dealing in transfer window for next two years.

The Dispute Resolution Chamber by FIFA issued on thursday the sanction of 780,000 euros and four months without playing with Chelsea for the French footballer Gaël Kakuta, for breaking the contract he had with Lens to sign for English club Chelsea.

Kakuta indicates that he will have to pay 780,000 euros to Lens. Chelsea are “jointly liable” so Chelsea have to pay Lens training compensation in the amount of 130,000 euros.

With regard to sporting sanctions, the player will be sidelined for four months in the official games and Chelsea has forbidden to sign new players, whether domestic or international, for the next two market periods.

The club “encouraged” to Kakuta to break the contract with French side Lens,
the Lens filed a complaint with FIFA after the striker, 18, violated the contract he had with the French side when he decided to accept the offer of signing Chelsea.

The English club “encouraged” the player to break the contract with the French team, so that with its lawsuit filed in FIFA, sought compensation from the player and the imposition of sporting sanctions to both the player as well as Chelsea.

The statement read, “The Dispute Resolution Chamber found that the player had indeed breached a contract signed with the French club. Equally, the Dispute Resolution Chamber deemed it to be established that the English club induced the player to such a breach.
